Every production has been there. Summer hits you hard and fast...sometimes without warning. Inevitably, you are doomed with uncomfortable actors and little to no relief for your crew. Even on your sound stage, the house AC becomes a sound nightmare and simply cannot run while you are shooting...and when you do turn it off it will never prime again to cool the stage between your short takes.

Sometimes the only answer is Portable Air Conditioning. Available in 1-ton, 2-ton, 5-ton and 12-ton units, Portable Air Conditioning can be the solution you are looking for to not only cool your locations, but also provide personalized cooling for your valuable Talent while on and off stage.

2-Ton Portable Air Conditioners

2-ton units are ideal for personal "cooling" tents or dressing rooms. They are reasonably light enough for two people to carry up a few steps and they are narrow enough to fit into virtually any location where you can receive power and vent out the hot air. Our 2-ton units come with a 25' extended cord and a Cam-Lock ready, Sub-Panel for safety and convenience around the movie set.

1-Ton Portable Air Conditioners

A 1-ton unit may only deliver half the BTU's of a 2-ton unit, but it makes up for it in the convenience of plugging directly into a standard 15 AMP wall outlet. These are ideal for personal cooling in the privacy of a dressing room, wardrobe room or while sitting in the make-up chair.

5-Ton Portable Air Conditioners

5-ton units are ideal for cooling that fully enclosed set year round on your sound stage. At 34" wide, they fit through most standard doorways and can run inside or outside your locations.

12-ton units are ideal for larger spaces. They are meant to remain outside your working area, or within a loading bay or garage. Dual Cold Air feeds can cool your space from two different directions.

How to Rent Portable ACs

Rental structures are based on a single day or weekly rate. Long term rentals are recommended in the peak summer months.
